Starting April 18 and all through the week until April 24, people around the globe are celebrating “World Recycle Week”.

18:00 Bibliotecha Alexandria: Care for Dolphins Presentation to Marine and Dive Professionals at The Library with Marine Biologist Angela Ziltener.

Thursday, April 21st
15:00 Family Day in Tamr Henna: Arts and Crafts Workshops for Parents and Kids

19:00 Theatre performance directed and performed by children from the different schools in El Gouna.

Friday, April 22nd

17:00 Environmental Talk at The El Gouna Church In El Bustan

13:30 Recycled Raft Competition at The Club House
You’re on a mission to save as much trash as you can and scavenge around the different dump sites in El Gouna to build the perfect Raft. Rules for participation etc. will be posted later. Prizes for the winning teams☺

19:00 Closing Party with Live Music and BBQ for all participants!

*Children from all of the schools will be participating in most of these activities as well as doing research on environmental practices in El Gouna.

**Watch out for activities that may be held all around town organized by different venues in El Gouna. Everyone can participate and contribute of their own initiative

While the world is celebrating Earth Week, El Gouna has already kicked off its very own “Green Festival” on April 15 through April 22.

If you are in El Gouna, check out the festival’s schedule which includes a wide array of events, such as art exhibitions, installations, documentaries, presentations, open talks, workshops, clean-ups, a flea market, and a closing party with live music and a BBQ on the 22nd.
