Rotary Club of Red Sea - El Gouna will be organising their 19th Blood Donation Campaign on Friday 23rd November outside Senzo Mall, south of Hurghada.
The blood donation vehicle will collect blood for the critically short stocks at Hurghada Blood Bank.
List of donor requirements:
There will be a few questions from the doctor to begin with, and you can read them below to make sure they DO NOT apply to you.
You CANNOT donate blood if you have:
1. Consumed alcohol or drugs 48 hours before.
2. You have a viral infection, Hepatitis B/C, or Aids.
3. Hypertension.
4. Diabetes.
5. Visited the dentist two weeks prior.
6. If you have undergone a surgical operation 3 months prior.
7. Females should not donate if: pregnant, lactating, or menstruating.
8. You have received tattoos in the past three months.
9. If you have any medical problems other than the above.
You must be aged between 16 and 60 years old.
We never know which one of us may one day be in need of this life saving donated blood.
