New Year’s Eve Community Run / Cycle

Come, ride or cycle with us this New Year's Eve in El Gouna.

On Sunday, December 31^st  at 10 am!

Coterique and The Fitness Playground invites you, your children and your four-legged companions (on leash) to their  annual community end of year 5km tour. The run should be over in around 30 minutes. 

The tour will start and  end at the Coterique Pop-Up Shop, next to Alam, on Abu Tig Marina, where Lychee and the El Gouna Winery will wrap up the year with complimentary fresh smoothies and El Gouna's very own locally produced champagne!

SPARK Kids Camp

The Customer Service Center is delighted to inform you, that for the first time, El Gouna will be hosting the SPARK Kids Camp, 

between December 23rd and January 5th. 

A new experience in El Gouna, designed to immerse your children in a fun and energetic environment and allowing them to meet a large number of children of their age. 

The day camp is for kids 3 -12 years old and activities include sports, games, music, art and character building fun activities.

Location: El Gouna International School

Dates: December 23rd - 29th 2017 and December 30th 2017 - January 5th 2018

12th Gouna Owners Club Social in Pictures

Thanks to all members who attended the GOC 12^th Social get together at the Piazza Ancient Sands November 11, it was another great opportunity for our small community to get to know each other and to share views and information. A very pleasant afternoon in perfect setting, beautiful weather and good food that left positive impression and good feeling among all attendees, particularly, those new GOC members who attended such event for the first time.  Attached some photo's taken by GOC members today. 

I would like to thank all GOC committee members, particularly,  Samia and Mira, also the management and Staff of Piazza, for all the hard work they put in to make this event a very successful and enjoyable one.

Hope those who were not able to be with us on this occasion to join us on the next event early next month, which an announcement will be made for shortly...

Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday.

27^th of October at 6pm in front of

The event will start at 6pm.

Kids are invited to come a bit earlier to get a spooky face paint. This event is fulfilled with a Freaky show, costumes, face painters, trick or treat, live bands and much more!

Gouna Owners Club Social in Pictures

The Gouna Owners Club (GOC) organised a social event on Sunday 22nd of October at the DuPort Club, Abu Tig Marina. The event was from 4pm to 7pm and was attended by over 60 property owners. Since it was only a social event, no business or agenda items were discussed, it was purely an opportunity for members to meet and get to know each other. A delicious buffet dinner, drinks and music were provided on a lovely evening with most perfect weather and setting. Thanks goes to Maher El Faham, Mira Rabih, Samia Baladi and Maureen Mateer for organising the event.

Street Festival Downtown on Sunday, October 8th

This Sunday, 8^th of October 2017, from 7.30pm-11pm, the street festival will take place in the closed street in front of Ebeid Supermarket Downtown, with a vibrant Latin inspired festival. We will offer Carnival acts, Dancers, Brazilian singers & bands. Sure the free kids area entertainment will be there as well.

Egyptian Food Festival Sept 29th in Hurghada

Under the auspices of the Governor of the Red Sea General Ahmed Abdullah, Rotary Club of Red Sea - El Gouna, together with the Association for Family, are organizing their 1st Egyptian Food Festival: “Set El-Beit” Learn How to Cook Project for women in need of a sustainable income.

Freshly cooked Egyptian meals will be prepared by the women, under the supervision of Mrs. Asmaa Mousa, Rotarian and Chef Trainer at the German Hotel School in El Gouna, and with the help and support of local hotels. Ongoing training has covered food hygiene and food preparation to a high standard to enable the women to start a small business.

The Festival will be held in El-Mamsha outside Gad Restaurant in Hurghada from 6:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. on Friday the 29th September 2017. 

The Egyptian Food Festival theme will be Folkloric Egyptian Nights with live music. 

There will also be the 16th Blood Donation Campaign of Rotary Club of Red Sea - El Gouna During the Egyptian Food Festival.

Rotary Club Red Sea Meeting - Wednesday August 9th

The weekly meeting of Rotary Club Red Sea - El Gouna will be held this week on Wednesday August 9th at 7:30 pm in the Art Area behind Tamr Henna Square in the Downtown. 

The Oriental Narguileh Bedouin Tent will be the perfect location to discuss details of the 3rd Bedouin Assessment trip that was undertaken on the 4th of August 2017. 

Please join us if you would be interested in finding out more about Rotary, and in particular, our project to help the Bedouin communities of the Eastern Desert in the areas of water, medical aid and basic education, three of the six areas of focus for Rotary International around the world

First Autism Awareness Conference, Hurghada 22nd to 24th of July

Rotary Club of Red Sea - El Gouna, together with Al Amal Association for Children with Special Needs, and El Hayat Tawasel, are organizing an Autism Awareness Conference to be held 22^nd – 24^th July 2017 at the Media Center in Hurghada. 

This is the first Autism Awareness conference in the Red Sea and is to raise awareness and understanding of autism in the Red Sea Governorate. The conference will cover recognizing early warning signs, diagnosis, and treatment.

The conference will be held in Arabic language and is free of charge.
