Met Opera ‘Agrippina’ February 29th

The MET Opera season 2019/2020 continues at TU Berlin Campus El Gouna.

In the Met’s first-ever performances of Agrippina, Handel’s satire of sex and power politics, Sir David McVicar reconceives a production evoking a scandalous world in which the Roman Empire never fell but simply kept going right up to the present. 

El Gouna Customer Service are offering 10 free tickets to our valued homeowners for the screening of Agrippina Opera on February 29th, 2020 at 19:55 local time. 

Please note that Customer Service have a first come first serve policy, so make sure to show your owners’ card to claim your ticket at the Customer Service office by February 28th, 2020.

Party On Wheels Scheduled for April 9th

Mark your calendars! The Official Annual Party on Wheels is coming back for the 7th year in a row with a whole entertainment infused fiesta weekend especially made for you!

We start the weekend on the 9th of April with master trainer fitness classes brought to you by none other than the best in the industry, followed by a pre-party meet and greet on the beach. Master trainer classes will be jam-packed with a fun frenzy fusion ranging from Spinning, Hot Iron, and dance fitness original sequences!

On April 10th, the long awaited POW official event will keep our wheels turning all day, and for those bringing kids along, fret not, we have a series of supervised kids activities that will keep your little ones entertained while you ride your heart out. Be sure to sign up for the kids party in advance as spots are limited! Finally, on April 11th we will unwind our journey together with a relaxing beach yoga session led by the El Gouna based Beach Monkeyz team.

POW is not only just a cycling marathon, it is about something bigger than just being fit. It’s a diverse union of energies with one goal, and through this ride one experiences the magic of harmony and how it can change perspectives.

We have special performances and guest superstars flying in to lead you and entertain you during this 8 hour cycling adventure. This season, we celebrate 7 years, with the Magnificent 7: Sara Tawfik, Féthi Grabsi, Yasmine Adly, Gina Grant, Maurizio Bottoni, Nirvana Zaher, and Stefan Amiri!

Annual Tennis Tournament Set for 22 Feb

El Gouna Tennis Club will be the venue for the 7th Annual Tennis Tournament pitting the Gezira Sporting Club against El Gouna. The annual event has grown through the years, to include more and more players and attendance. 

This year, the tournament will be held from February 22nd, with the finals scheduled for February 25th.    All matches are on clay, at the El Gouna Tennis Club opposite the TUB campus. 

42 players will compete on each side, with all matches either doubles or mixed doubles, organised in 7 categories, each category comprising three ‘2 player teams’ from each club, giving 6 teams in total per category. Prizes will be given out to first, second and third place in each category. 

In parallel this year, a junior tournament of 12 young players will take place prior to the senior main event. The junior tournament will begin at 10 am and seniors at 11:15 am. 

Attendance is free, so come and cheer your favourite team!
